Shot from south corner stand. 8:45 a.m. 19 yards. Rattled and grunted over from Sheep Creek. Raked a tree just across the fence then walked on the North trail to 19 yards. Made a bad shot. Pulled shot right and hit buck in the neck. Buck ran north then cut east (see video). Thought I had missed the deer, but found good blood 60 yards from the stand. Let buck lay for 6 hours. Buck traveled 200 yards. Died within 10 minutes. Buck died 25 yards east of duck blind on river. Luke was in the west burm stand. I could hear Luke grunting at buck when he was only 25 yards away.
