Shot this buck at 6:20 right after legal shooting light. Rattled him in. He came running and let out a loud deep grunt when he crossed the slough. Missed him at 34 yards. Grunted him back in to 47 yards. Hit him in the high shoulder. He traveled east and died 175 yards from the stand. Let him lay for six hours. But probably dead after 2-3 minutes.
Shot with Quest bow. 70 lbs. Slick Trick broad head. Easton Axis arrow.
Weather: Very warm. 50 degrees. Blue bird day. No wind.
